1. Overview
Assemblr is a behavioral-intelligence platform that observes how teams work across their connected tools and surfaces the routines worth running in a weekly briefing called the Mirror. By using the service you agree to these terms.
The service is operated by Assemblr (the "Service", "we", "us"). You are referred to as "you" or the "Customer".
2. Your account
You authenticate with a third-party identity provider (currently Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You must be authorized by your organization to connect its tools (GitHub, Slack, Linear, and any future integrations) to Assemblr.
3. Data and privacy
Data handling is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. In short: ingested events are scoped to your organization, mining and briefings stay private to your org, and the public Mirror surface renders only OSS organizations on an explicit allowlist.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to build or train competing products.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where this restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without prior written permission.
- Use the service to violate the terms of any connected third-party tool (GitHub, Slack, Linear) or any applicable law.
5. Public Mirror surface
Pages under /mirror/{org} render forensic summaries of public GitHub activity for organizations on a curated allowlist. We preserve real attribution because the underlying events are already public under the GitHub Terms of Service.
If you are a maintainer or representative of an org and want your page taken down, use the take-down link in the page footer. We honor take-down requests within 24 hours.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your data. We retain all rights to the Service, including its codebase, trademarks, and any aggregated or anonymized metrics derived from operating the platform.
7. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by disconnecting your integrations on the Connections page. We can suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, with prior notice when practicable.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages.
10. Changes
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced through the service or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
